This is the colored version of a piccy for the entrance of my online manga, NLMO; which you can find [here].

It's of my main character, Maemi. :3

I don't like how it turned out... at all... =x__x= The BG is what has been bugging me. If you have any suggestions, about the the BG, on how to fix it, that is possible, PLEASE TELL ME!!!

I changed the bookcase and fixed the wallpaper. ^^;

[EDIT 2]

Changed some of the books.
Does it look better?

About the bg, maybe you should try to put texture in the bookshelf, like wood or something like that.

The Chair is drawn too small. If you make it a bit bigger it might fix the problem. ^^

Lovely!! I really love how you colored the hair. Hmm..the background.. the encyclopedias on the second level of the bookshelf looks a bit weird. I think it's the color. it's right next to her face so people tend to look at it more. And I think the shading looks a bit unnatural. and the bookshelf should have a darkner brown color to balance her light colors and make her stand out more. :nod: the pink wall is very cute.

I think the BG is quite good, I don't think there's much problem with it. The books look a little flat, but that's not too serious. One thing though, if I may say so. The picture would improve much so if you smoothed the lines, you can see what I'm talking about best on her legs. (the edges, where the line art is) Also for the BG one of the bottom flowers seems out of line (over lapping another). And the two pink lines are different width sizes. But I'm being really harsh, it really is good! I love everything about her, her eyes are very bright and the shading on her is awesome.
